We provide Architectural services for upgrades and additions to Telus Data Centres in Ontario and Alberta. These projects require intensive collaboration with the other professional disciplines to provide consistent and predictable outcomes in a highly secure and intensively conditioned environment. All projects require precise alterations to existing facilities that allow the client to reliably update and reconfigure IT and data solutions within existing buildings. Emergency power upgrades typically require provision for on-site power generation through diesel generators, significant diesel storage requirements, site and building security, site plan approval applications and Ministry of Environment approvals. Environmental remediation projects require careful attention to specification requirements for the appropriate assignment of risk; compliance with authorities having jurisdiction; and the health and safety requirements of the client, users and workers.

Van Elslander Carter Architects provide Architectural and base drawings for the coordination of Mechanical, Electrical, Acoustic, Environmental and Structural disciplines. In addition to work on the industrial (Type F2 Occupancy) aspects of these projects we provide full interior design services for the front-of-house program including reception, office and meeting room spaces, security controls, stations, and sally ports complete with electronic controls and locking mechanisms.
