This renovation of an existing servery and cafeteria recognizes the changing needs and multi purpose nature of student spaces. The servery itself was re-planned to improve efficiencies in movement and circulation and to provide clear and easy to read product choices.
The project takes advantage of existing volumes and daylight that had been obscured by previous alterations and opens the cafeteria up into one large bright and airy space with distinct areas for meeting, casual study, quick snacks and meals. Individual areas are designed and furnished to create a variety of distinct and comfortable environments tailored to both smaller and larger groups.
